4 days to go!

Pop up ads vs. Text ads

Hi! 

Had a homework question regarding pop up ads versus text ads. Was supposed to argue for Pop up ads, an advertising media I personally hate. Tried my best though, this is how it turned out: 

"Text ads are effective ways of communicate companies’ products to their potential customers. However the only way to actually reach out to these customers through text ads is if the customer search or in other way actively tries to find a similar product or the company’s actual product. Text ads are only effective to reach already existing customers or customers which are in the second step of the buying process, meaning the already know they want to buy a specific product. Pop-up, pop-up-behind and rich media ads are more effective when trying to attract new customers that could have been completely unaware of the existing of a product or service. When visiting a site and a ad connected to the sites subject pops up, this could in many cases be interesting for the customer.
Also these advertising medias are more effective and forceful, never compromising and often informative for the customer. Pop up ads are also removable if it does not please the customer, text ads are not."
